Squadron Ground Team Activation 24 January 2020
Friday, 24 January 2020, Nampa Squadron received real-world tasking and stood up ground team members for a lost hiker in Elmore County. Adverse weather prevented launch of CAP aircraft.
Nampa ground team members rallied at the squadron building and readied their gear but ultimately did not deploy on the ground as the subject was located by Elmore County Deputies using data provided by CAP Cell Phone Forensics Team.
Later that same date, team members participated in the region communication exercise utilizing members of both the squadron communications team and a new round of ground team members.
